Dream Circle Guidelines

The basic guidelines for dream teleconference circles:

- The participant(s) must commit to a regular schedule. The group will meet once a week for twelve weeks for sixty to ninety minutes.

- Everyone will be asked to keep a dream journal.

- The group will open with a simple ritual. This will likely be a short statement of intention and a brief period of relaxation music.

- Each session will result in forming a dream title from the presenting member and the facilitator. After opening the circle, members will have a quiet moment to settle in to the energy of the dream being presented.

- The dream will be examined and discussed for its depth and collective worth. Everyone will take turns to share how the dream is speaking to them.

- The session will answer three basic questions. (a) How does the dream make the group feel? (b) What does the soul want them to know? (c) How might this insight be used in their daily lives?

- The dreams presented will be exploered in three vital ways: (a)reality check - can the dream messages be manifested in our waking life? (b)dream reentry - by going inside the dream for resolution we harvest guidance, healing, and participate in a shared journey; (c) honor and celebrate the dream for its energy and insights and bring this into waking life.

- Bring the gifts of dreaming to other people who desperately need a dream in their lives. Members will be asked to find a way – between each session – to bring dreaming into the life of someone who might benefit from the insights gathered.

- Members will come back to the group with stories of how they brought the dreams being discussed alive for others. In this way, through one encounter after another, they will be making a beautiful contribution to the soul's intent - to get people to awaken to their inner life.
